Ethnobotany – How People Use Plants
The Monthly meeting of the South Dade Garden Club takes place on Thursday, January 10 at the Fruit & Spice Park community room at 24801 SW 187th Avenue, starting at 7pm.
Our guest speaker is Kiki Mutis, community outreach Coordinator at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens on the subject of Ethnobotony — how people use plants.
Club leaders continue the tradition of sharing the love and appreciation for the abundant tropical species of South Florida, and the spirit of camaraderie among its members.
As always, members and guests are welcome. Refreshments will be served after the program. Meetings are free and the public is welcome to attend. Bring a friend.
